Challenges

The main challenges to be solved were the lack of online ordering functionality and limited inventory management capabilities. The goal was to enable the complete online ordering process and better present a wide range of products to customers. In addition, a system that would simplify the inventory management process had to be developed and implemented. After switching to the new value, it was necessary to enable the dual display of prices in kuna and euros. Our development team, in cooperation with the client, designed and created a new website that met the client’s specific needs.

Solution

According to the client’s suggestions, a vintage design was created to additionally emphasize in the online form that this is an antique store. In addition to the possibility of buying books and other products, it is now possible to sell textbooks online. In addition, the standard WooCommerce functionalities have been greatly expanded with ERP capabilities within a single interface, which made it possible to easily manage all aspects of the business from one place. The intuitive interface made it easier for customers to search and filter products, as well as a simple and quick shopping process, while the inventory management system made it easier for the client to keep track of products and availability.

The antiquarian shop Ezop was founded in 2002 in Osijek. Their work includes buying and selling various books, textbooks for elementary and high school, music CDs, gramophone records and old postcards.
